Mugabe & The White African

        I watched this documentary last week. In all my travels I’ve still never been to Africa, in all honesty Africa scares the shit out of me. Hot, dry, dusty, bugs, fucking lions and a variable mess of Postcolonialism. It’s generally agreed that man came from Africa, the birth of the human race started there. So naturally, white people managed to fuck the place up pretty bad. Between; slavery, colonialism, and Communist/ Capitalist proxy wars the continent is pretty fucked up in most standings.

        The film is an incredible documentary, the insight to daily life of Africans in Mugabe’s Zimbabwe is appalling. It’s an incredibly story, showing the insane living environment of Zimbabwe since Mugabe’s rule. The incredible racism and violence towards the Campbell family captured on screen is unsettling and incredible. A great documentary that drops you into a living hell of a country.
